These protection rings are precision cut from your choice of 1/8” thick American sourced steel or aluminum. These rings are secured by 25 bolts (included) which also acts as an extra protection measure. The combination of both bolt and ring offers exceptional protection to the wheels. Trail ride with less worry, more fun.
Note: Torque to 5 ft lbs. DO NOT over-torque. Improper torqueing can cause the threads to strip. Due to the nature of the materials, raw metal (un-powdercoated) rings may have slight cosmetic imperfections.
Looks good but when installed as you tighten the bolts the paint started to come off. A winged bolt would probably work better.

My protection rings starting chipping as soon as i rode them. The response i got from RRW was that the company used to coat them did a bad job but they couldnt replace my rings with ones that were coated by a new company. I was told to get them done myself and I would be reimbursed a nominal amount per ring. I dont live near a coating place and great customer service would have replaced my rings. Especially since management admitted the company they used did a bad job. I still have the rings if y'all want to make it right!
